The best robot mop for wood floors Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're seeking a robot mop and vacuum that's middle-of-the-road. It has a great mopping performance but lacks certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard floors. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is a great feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's some clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are useful but they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners need.

Created to look like a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that acts as an on/off switch.
