The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the push of one button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum cleaner with mop vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do, and it can even pick up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice claim but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot vacuum cleaner knows what areas require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those found on more expensive models. The mopping system is better because its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it does not have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay if want one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is larger than many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something needs attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first attempt. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet, though I recommend drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo with all the features you can wish for. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot vacuum and mop under $500 known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet the height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific path.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads rotating to scrub away tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of convenience features that you do not often find on robots in this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are nice to have however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category and could mean it's a little more expensive than some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the house. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel is a circular menu that lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop with ease, without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4% of debris from our test on the hard floor and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
