This is the lightest and smallest stroller for travel available. Its sleek design is easy to fold into a neat rectangular shape and the wheels turn more smoothly than other designs.

The stroller also has a large storage area under the seat and a shoulder strap that makes it easier to transport when you're not pushing it. But the canopy adjuster can make lots of noise which could wake a sleepy toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that offers many features for its size. Its back under-seat basket is spring loaded, which means you can lower it to put a diaper bag or backpack into and it will then pop up to protect the contents. It can be used right from birth with the infant car seat adapter and offers a good amount of shade thanks to its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only drawback for some parents is that they feel the style to be dated and unfashionable.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other lightweight single handle stroller strollers however it was made specifically for luxe urban and travel. It's among the easiest strollers to fold (and comes with a handy carry case) It also offers plenty of storage, including a cup holder. The seat reclines almost flat for both the child and adult. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used for infants using the car seat adapter. Some parents with short legs may not like the handlebar, which doesn't adjust.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it offers numerous great features that make traveling with kids easier. Its spacious seat reclines to a flat position, and it comes with extra padding so that those airplane naps last longer. The canopy extends to provide a lot of sun-shade and the tray on the front provides plenty of storage. It also comes with a spring-loaded handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. This footrest is prone to being damaged by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Minu V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is a stylish stroller with premium design and quality. Its compact size makes it easy to navigate narrow streets and tight spaces, however its robust construction ensures it can withstand rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspensions provide a more comfortable ride for both of you, while its robust materials ensure that it can withstand the wear and tear of everyday life without losing its shape. It can also be extended to accommodate other accessories such as baby car seat.

Even with a baby on the way, the Minu was a breeze to fold and maneuver. Its squat almost square fold that folds into thirds, is one of the most straightforward in our tests and allows it to fit in overhead compartments on planes or in public transportation. It scored a higher rating in our maneuverability review than other strollers with similar specs, and is a great option for smooth pavements. It has a huge parent tray, canopy, and plenty of storage. The front wheel suspension is a little stiff and the handlebar is smaller than normal, however it provides a comfortable ride for adults.

If you have twins or two children with different ages, you could find that a side-by-side stroller is the best way to move them around.
