3 wheeler strollers Wheel Double Buggy

A great choice for parents who want to take their kids off-road, the Fox 5 is a true all-terrain baby stroller. It has impressive suspension and huge wheels that are puncture-proof.

Our tester Claire was amazed by the clean packaging, easy-to-open and deemed it to be to be one of the quickest and most simple pieces of baby gear to put together. She tested it on some rough terrain and was impressed with its performance.

Seats

The majority of triple buggies begin life as single pushchairs, but some can be converted to take an additional seat or carrycot with adapters (these are more commonly found in tandem buggies). Certain models let you add an extra board for older kids who are ready to walk, but still require a little help.

For a lightweight option that's great for city streets, check out the Joie Evalite Duo. It's easy to move, and it has a large basket with lots of storage. It can be used to accommodate twins from birth and accept two car seats or an infant carrycot and seat. The seats must face forward and there is no space to store bags of groceries under the seat. You will require an extra sidepack.

If you like to go off-road then the Mountain Buggy Duet is a great choice. It's a side-by-side with the smallest footprint of any double buggy on the market. It's easier to maneuver through narrow doors, on public transport and to climb over and up kerbs. It also has a handbrake on the handlebar that can be adjusted for more security and safety.

Another option that is light weight is the UPPAbaby Vista 2 Double that can be used for twins or a toddler and baby. The seats have a multi-position reclining with UPF 50+ sunshades. The canopy can be adjusted so that the sun does not reach your child's eyes. The Vista 2 can be converted into a triple by adding UPPAbaby’s "PiggyBack" board, which is designed for older children.

The iCandy Orange is one of the most well-known double buggies available because of its exceptional comfort. It's a true all-terrain pushchair with a soft suspension to make easy work of bumpy surfaces. It offers 30 different seating options as well as a built-in table for older children who prefer walking, and a "cinema' mode which raises the back seat for better visibility.

The phil&teds dot is a fantastic single buggy from day 1 which is then able to take 2 (or 3 wheeler pushchair off road!) in various configurations. Suspension

The quality of the suspension on a triple buggy is crucial to how it will be easy for you and your baby to push.
