Newest iRobot Roomba Robots

The latest iRobot robots can map your house and use their cameras to spot small obstacles like shoes, cords and pet waste. The Combo j9+ also fills its own water tank when you send it for a mopping session, an upgrade from earlier models which required you to manually empty and refill the tanks manually.

The Roomba S9+

If you're looking to buy a premium robot vacuum that can double job as a mop, the s9+ is your best choice. Its suite of groundbreaking technology is built into a sleek, modern design that cleans deep into corners and along edges and maps your home and self-empties.

The s9+ uses powerful, high-efficiency motors that give more than 40 times the suction3 of previous Irobot models. It also detects carpeted surfaces that trigger Power Boost to deep clean. Its automatic dirt detection is incredibly accurate and can even differentiate a small toy from a dust particle to prevent it from getting stuck.

When the s9+ is full of debris, it automatically returns to its dock, and then empty itself by forcefully sucking the contents into its huge bin. This sounds like a jet engine taking off, only takes a few seconds and can be scheduled through the Irobot app.

This robot stands out from its competition by a new navigational feature called Imprint Smart Mapping. This innovative technology makes use of sensors to scan the area digitally up to 25 times per second. It lets it map your house more accurately and avoid hitting obstacles. The s9+ also has PerfectEdge technology, which allows it to cut close to intricate edges, like the kitchen cabinets that were renovated by Ikea in my house.
