This is a great robot vacuum for those who have a mixture of carpet and hard floors. Its standout feature is obstacle detection that cleverly avoids things like cords, furniture legs, and even pet dander. It also does a great job at cleaning hard floors and removing long hairs that get stuck in the brush.

The Roomba J7+ is unique to many other robots in that it can adjust its suction power. This is done via the app. It also comes with a good map editor, and a section for favorites. The j7+ is also quite quiet, especially when it comes to the more expensive flooring options. It can keep up with manual vacuuming.

As is typical, irobot vacuum mop's top-of-the-line bots tend to perform better than lower-end models. In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was able to remove more dirt from carpeted and hard surfaces, and also cleaned better in crevices. 3. Roomba i7+

The i7+'s ability to clean the room is an amazing experience. It follows a similar pattern to how a lawn care professional trims a field before an event. This feature, which allows the vacuum to empty itself, is a welcome feature that reduces the necessity for manual maintenance.

The 694 is an excellent entry-level robot that is ideal for anyone looking to make their home cleaner but without the advanced automation features that more expensive models provide. It can learn your habits in cleaning and recommend cleaning schedules. It also integrates with Google Assistant or Alexa voice assistants, so you can begin a cleaning session simply by giving it a command.

Dual multi-surface brushes remove dirt from carpet and hard floors and edges, while the edge-sweeping brush cleans edges and corners. The battery will last for 90 minutes before docking back to the Home Base when it runs out.

A large Clean/Power button is in the middle of the top panel, with Spot and Home buttons below and above it. The indicator for the battery level blinks orange when charging and green once the robot is running. The dustbin slots in at the back of the robot and is released with a press of one button.

The Roomba 694 is great for navigating uneven floors and sucking up large particles like cereal and rice. However, it has a difficult time with smaller particles such as baking soda. Its slim profile is perfect for navigating under low-clearance couches and coffee tables as well as other furniture, and it's also one of the quietest robovacs we've test-driven.

This is the simplest model we've seen. It doesn't have features that are found in more expensive models. It doesn't have an app so you will need to manually set the schedule by using the remote control. It also doesn't provide an alarm for battery levels or a dust bin full alert, so you'll need to monitor its condition and empty it when you need to.
