MadeForMums test-tested the Cybex Avi Spin for us and had the opportunity to test it with one of Australia's best middle distance runners, Genevieve Gregson who recently became a mum. We asked her what she thought of the pram and whether there was anything that could be improved.

The Avi Spin is a fantastic all terrain pram-terrain stroller that offers the flexibility a modern family needs from day one. The front swivel is unmatched for its maneuverability around tight city corners, and the air-filled tires offer comfort when strolling around the city or taking nature walks. The swivel can be locked for additional stability when in rough terrain or while running. The fully reclining seat is designed to provide a comfortable lie-flat position that is suitable for babies from birth. The strap that is one-pull makes it easier to access and exit the seat, while the compact folding makes it easy to store or transport. The wheels can also be removed for a smaller fold! The brake lever is located on the right hand side of the handlebar, which can make it difficult to operate with one hand.

Out N About Nipper V5

The Out N About Nipper V5 allows you to take your child for a smooth jog or off-road walks in total comfort. Its lightweight all terrain pram frame, rear suspension and air-filled tyres ensure a comfortable ride over all kinds of terrains, including city streets and scenic countryside routes. This pushchair is able to be used from the beginning, and with the right adapters, it can also be used as a travel system.

It does have some drawbacks, however - it's not cheap and if you're seeking a product to use from birth to the age of it's possible to get a better deal elsewhere. It's also a bit heavy, so you may require help to move it into your car. There are also a few tiny honeycomb-like areas that are exposed at the bottom of the seat that could become the perfect breeding ground for vomit and spilled drinks.
