Albums

The discography of the American rock band Toto includes 13 studio albums, four live albums, and numerous compilations. Toto has released original music as well as collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. The group has won a number of Grammy Awards for their work.

Before Toto was formed The members of the band played session work for other musicians. Drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and keyboardist David Paich (the son of session drummer Marty Paich and brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro) played on Boz Scaggs 1975 album Silk Degrees. The group's collaboration led to the formation of Toto in 1976.

Shem Von Schröck replaced Leland Sklar as drummer on the tour for the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live set called Falling in Between, which included recordings from the tour and an interview with the group.

Toto has produced many music videos. The band has released a variety of compilation videos and DVDs. The most popular video of the band is "Africa" which has more than one billion views. The video takes place in a library and features the group performing on top of a stack of books about Africa.

The track "Africa" is from the album Toto IV. The song was written by members of the band and was produced by David Paich. It was a big hit in Europe and other countries.
