WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you an increase in specific statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for those with higher variance because of the requirement to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item upgrader mod will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every couple of weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item upgrader mod level, however they'll always be cheaper than buying new equipment. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones
